Prepress Printing Process
About the Printing Plate
- We will print the ink evenly on the printing plate.
- In metal printing, we will create a different printing plate for each color.
- By exposing the plate on which the photosensitizing agent has been applied in advance, an image area and a non-image area are created.
- When setting a plate on a printing machine (rotary press), ink and water are always supplied to the plate.
- The ink is on the image area, and water is on the non-image area.
- We will use the separation of water and oil (oil reaction) to print.

CMYK
CMYK = Cyan (C: Blue) – Magenta (M: Red) – Yellow (Y: Yellow) – Black (K: Black)

Rosetta pattern
The color is reproduced by multiplication of the meshes of each color. The figure on the left is a type of circular pattern formed by arranging halftone dots. It is a pattern formed when four CMYK plates are superimposed with a specific screen angle, print line number and halftone dot shape.
CTP prepress

Data editing
We are doing data editing work that considers printing characteristics in order to reproduce the design that our customers are imagining at a higher level.
CTP = Computer To Plate
Laser exposure from digital data directly to a printing plate makes it possible to create more precise and high-quality printing-friendly plates.
Since it is also possible to increase and decrease halftone dots, the color reproducibility also increases.

Automatic Developing Machine
Laser-exposed printing plates are developed with automatic processing machine.

Print Plate Film Making
As usual, a printing plate using film (positive and negative) will be created.
We prepare a printing plate by exposing ultraviolet rays to the PS plate at the composer. Send the film as specified, and create a printing plate.
