About the Printing and Decorating Process
- Transfer the ink from the printing plate to the rubber blanket by offset method and print on the metal plate.
- Ink and water are always supplied to the plate set in the press (rotary press).
- The ink is on the image area, and water is on the non-image area.
- We will use the separation of water and oil (oil reaction) to print.
- Compared with paper printing, it is a big difference that the printing material does not absorb ink.
- In order to dry the ink, bake it in the oven, harden it and fix it.
Oil based printing machine: 2 Colors
Printing on the material with the base coating applied.
Each sheet is sent out by a feeder.
We inspect every sheet before printing press. There are 2 printing presses, and we print up to 2 colors in one process.
The operator checks each ink color registration and adjust the color depending on the ink spread.
The printed ink is heat dried in an oven and fixed on the metal plate.
UV printing machine: 6 color machine
UV printing machine: 6 color machine
Considering chromogenic the definitive metal printing consists of six colors (Orange Green cyan-magenta-yellow-black).
It is more vivid and able to express a clear color with high image quality.
In addition, multiplication becomes large and it is possible to express about 95% of the RGB space.
Printing by FM screening
The general screening method is called AM screening.
It expresses shading by changing the size of halftone dots arranged at equal intervals.
FM screening uses smaller, more uniform dots compared to AM screening.
Therefore, it is possible to realize image printing with higher definition, less graininess, and less moiré.

6 Color Printing Process
Send out the sheet from the feeder
Inspect the fed metal sheet
We will print 6 colors one by one and we will dry each color with ultraviolet lamp (UV).
Operations make sure the color and registration are correct.
Quality assurance inspection is carried out by high sensitivity digital 3CCD line sensor.
Each color is dried by ultraviolet lamp (UV), but after 6 colors printing, use the final ultraviolet lamp (UV) to finish.
Sheets are then stacked with a double stacker configuration machine.
