Formulating the Ink
Metal printing prints on tinplate or other steel material.
When printing on glossy material, finished image will be different from paper printing. In offset printing, colors are expressed by adjusting the density of each of the four colors CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black), but there are colors that are difficult to express in multiplication of these four colors.
In order to make colors that are difficult to express stably, mix inks and create inks of that color. This ink is called “special color”, and the mixing work is called “tuning”.
Matching Process
In order to reproduce the image of the customer, the inking of the ink is done by a professional craftsman.
